Marcia Cade, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Cade, celebrated her 9th birthday on Sept. 9th by having nine of her friends join her to see the picture show, “Dakota,” then going to the drug store for refreshments. Those attending the party were Mona Kilgore, Betty Crawford, Julia Holmes, Barbara Salter, Josephine McNair, Ann Cochran, Frances Chappell, Alice Ogletree, and Ginger Chappell.
Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Guthrie, Jr., and children were the spend the day guests of Mr. and Mrs. Viron Turnipseed recently.
Mr. and Mrs. James Pugh, of Fitzpatrick, Ala., were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. I. K. Pugh.
