Mrs. Virginia Barnes and Jerry visited Union Springs Saturday to attend a birthday party for Mrs. Martha Paulk. They also went to Faith Independent Methodist Church Sunday afternoon to attend the Praise Condert presented by Mrs. John Adams and Mrs. Jane Padgett.

Mr. and Mrs. Sam Waters, Beverly and Sammy have returned from a trip to California, Nevada, and other western states. Also enjoying the trip were the glenn Paulks.

Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Jinks, Jr., will arrive Friday from the University of Alabama, and will remain until Tuesday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Jinks, Sr. They will leave then for Lenox, Mass., to spend the between quarters vacation with her parents.
Mrs. J. L. Richardson, of Inverness, spent last week with her uncle, Mr. Sam Culpepper, at Eufaula.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Main and little son have returned from a vacation spent in Miami, Florida.

Mrs. Sam Cohn spent a few days last week with her parents in Montgomery.
Mr. and Mrs. I. H. Ellis and Virginia Ellis motored to Montgomery Sunday evening, for a few days, and while there Virginia’s tonsils were removed.
The friends of Mr. Joe Alex Varner are hoping for him a speedy recovery, he having been confined to his bed a week with fever.
Dr. H. C. Fenn, after a visit to his brothers here and relatives in Clayton, left Monday morning for his home in Mt. Dora, Florida.
