The Conecuh Springs Christian School (CSCS) Eagles had a tough night this past Friday as they visited Clay County Christian. The Eagle defense kept the game close until the middle of the third quarter before ultimately losing 33-6.

The offense couldn’t find their rhythm either on the ground or through the air. Cesar Bravo-Mota led the Eagles with a meager 72 yards on ten carries and was also held out of the end zone for only the second time in 13 career games.

The air attack also struggled with Lott Putnam connecting on four passes for 68 yards and one touchdown. Joseph Munoz was on the receiving end of one pass for a 38 yard touchdown.

The Eagle defense arguably played their best game of the season by keeping the game extremely close until the middle of the second half. Leading tackler for the Eagles was Tristan Mosley with 11 solo tackles and one assist.

Also contributing was Kevin Padilla with eight solo tackles and one assist. Overall it was a great effort but the Eagles came up short. Next up is homecoming against Cornerstone Christian.

The CSCS Homecoming Court will be recognized at halftime and it is also senior night with senior football players being recognized prior to kickoff.

Please make plans to attend and support your Eagles!
