The Conecuh Springs Christian School Eagles held their homecoming game this past Friday night against the Warriors from Pineview Christian.
After falling behind for the first time this season, the Eagles reeled off 58 straight points to easily win the game by the score of 58-8. Scoring came easily for the Eagles by scoring seven touchdowns on offense while only running 12 plays.
Cesar Bravo-Mota rushed the ball four times for 59 yards and scored three touchdowns. Sergio Bravo-Mota also got in on the action by rushing the ball three times for 27 yards and two touchdowns.
Kevin Padilla connected with Miguel Gudino on five-yard and 14 yards touchdowns; the other two offensive scores came through the air. Johan Perez-Vaquero connected on five of seven extra points, thereby adding ten points to the total score.
The defense recovered nicely after allowing a touchdown on the first possession of the evening. Miguel Gudino led the Eagles with six tackles, one interception, and a fumble recovery.
Sergio Bravo-Mota also stopped two warrior drives with interceptions. The night's final score was a fumble recovery by Ivan Reyes-Bautista that he returned 55 yards for a touchdown.
Next up for the Eagles will be the final home game of the regular season against the Grizzlies of Bear Creek Academy.
The kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. on THURSDAY night, and all Eagle fans are encouraged to attend.
