The Conecuh Springs Christian School Eagles had their final home game of the regular season this past Thursday night against the Grizzlies of Bear Creek Academy.
After a somewhat sloppy start, the Eagles were able to pull away and easily win the game with a score of 56-19. The Eagles spread the scoring around as four different players were able to find the endzone.
Cesar Bravo-Mota scored on two different 40 yards runs.
Miguel Gudino found the endzone on a 77-yard rush and a 31-yard reception. La’Traveon Kimber also got in on the action with a 32-yard touchdown run. The last two offensive scores were by Kevin Padilla, who scored on touchdown runs of 10 and 43 yards.
Miguel Gudino led the Eagle defense with seven tackles and a 45-yard interception return for the final score of the evening.
Also pitching in were Kevin Padilla and Cesar Bravo-Mota, with six tackles each.
Next up for the Eagles is a home playoff game this Thursday night against Marshall Christian from Albertville, Alabama. A kickoff time has not been determined yet.
