Last Friday, the Hornets traveled to the Capital City to face the Alabama Christian Academy Eagles.
Bullock County hoped to get an upset against a 5-3 Eagles squad to ruin their homecoming.
Bullock County had their trouble all night grounding the Eagles.
On the offensive side of the ball, the quarterback had no protection from the line. ACA bulldozed its way into the backfield to disrupt the Hornets’ offensive scheme.
The Hornets’ defense got completely manhandled all through the first half. They allowed big gains against the Eagles’ running game as ACA burst for three rushing touchdowns.
The Hornets’ secondary was no match for their opponents. The Hornets let two passes zip by them for two touchdowns.
The Hornets found themselves in a big 35-0 hole by halftime.
Because of the lopsided score, the second half was 8:00 minutes a quarter due to the mercy rule.
The Hornets gave up one more rushing touchdown to be dominated 42-0 to the Eagles.
