The Conecuh Springs Christian School Eagles hosted a semifinal playoff against the visitors from Marshall Christian.

In a game that allowed several younger players to play extensively, the Eagles were able to easily win by a score of 46-6.

The first team offense played sparingly as starting running back Cesar Bravo-Mota only had 2 rushes for 125 yards and 2 touchdowns.

The second leading rusher for the Eagles was C.J. Hall, rushing the ball 5 times for 68 yards and a touchdown.

Ivan Reyes-Bautista was also able to reach the endzone on the ground with a 14 yard touchdown run.

The passing game also saw a little action as Kevin Padilla connected on a 31 yard touchdown pass to Anthony Roe.

The defense for the Eagles was once again stellar, only allowing 6 points on the evening. Miguel Gudino led the Eagles with 6 tackles and a fumble recovery for a touchdown.

Behind Gudino were Ivan Reyes-Bautista and Johan Perez-Vaquero, each with 4 tackles and a forced fumble.

Next up for the Eagles is the Championship game this coming Friday night at Cahawba Christian School in Centreville.

CSCS will be the home team and will be facing Clay County Christian. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. and all Eagle fans are encouraged to travel and cheer the team to victory.
