Rob Cameron, Chief of the Union Springs Fire Department, presented his monthly report at the August 2, 2021, City Council meeting for July 2021 as follows.

Regular training drills were held on July 5 and July 19.

They answered emergency calls for car accidents on Highway 29 South on July 6 and July 12.

They answered a call to a car accident with a death on highway 29 South on July 11.

They extinguished a fire at a car accident at Highway 82 East/Owens Street on July 19.

They extinguished mobile home fires at Gibson Circle on July 14 and highway 239 on July 23.

They solved the problem of a smoke alarm alert at the Bullock County High School on July 25.

There was an ALEA Assist held on July 3 in Union Springs.
