After serving as Manager of the Senior Citizens Nutrition Center in Union Springs since August 9, 2000 I am retiring as of August 30, 2019.

After retiring from the Department of Human Resources in 1995, I did volunteer work there. Then I was called by the City to work at the Nutrition Center.

I have enjoyed working with the Senior Citizens where nutritious lunches are served, and caring organizations provide information regarding the aging process. I appreciate the concern shown by actions of the Union Springs community for our Senior Citizens, and the supervision of the South Central Alabama Development Commission Agency on Aging (SCADC),

My plans now are that I will still be going to the Center and writing letters and sending cards and calling on the sick and shut-ins.

I want to do all the missionary work God allows me to do.

I give my blessing and best wishes to the new Manger of the Nutrition Center.
