Carter Funeral Home humbly announces the peaceful transition of Mr. James Randall 67, of Union Springs, Alabama.
Known to many as “Bubba”, Mr. Randall transitioned into eternity on October 24, 2020. Celebration of Life services and Interment was held Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. from the Pleasant Grove CME Cemetery of the High Ridge Community, Pastor Hawthorne Reed of the Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church delivered the message of comfort.
Public visitation was held Friday, October 30, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home of Union Springs, Alabama. All services and visitations will be conducted exercising prescribed social distancing protocols. Facial coverings for all attendees are mandated per an executive order of the Governor of the State of Alabama.
James Randall (Bubba) was born August 7, 1953 to Mattie Randall ad the late Napoleion Randall in Union Springs, Alabama. He was the oldest of six children.
On Saturday, October 24, 2020, God decided to call him home and added another precious flower to His garden. He confessed Christ and joined Pleasant Grove C.M.E. Church.
He leaves to mourn his passing and to cherish his precious memories: a loving and devoted mother, Mattie Randall; three devoted sisters, Shirley Randall, Brenda Randall and Beverly Randall of Columbus, GA; two brothers Donnie Ray Randall and Herman Crawford of Columbus, GA; one son, Jermaine Hough of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; three daughters, Amena (Dominic) Jones, Tamica Shipman and Anteka Chandler of Troy, AL; ten grandchildren, two greatgrandchildren; two aunts, Sarah Jean Faison of Cincinnati, OH and Janie (Alonza) Booker of Passaic, NJ; three devoted cousins, Ida Bell Surls, Otis Baldwin and Angela Still; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including a special friend and caregiver, Nellie Allen and the Southern Springs Rehabilitation & Healthcare Facility Staff.
