Joshua Keith Head was born on February 20, 1981, to Steve Head and Toneece Price in Montgomery, Alabama. Josh went home on June 7, 2021, at the age of 40.
The funeral service was held on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. from Gray Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Gene Bridgman officiating.
Burial followed at Ramah Cemetery with Gray Funeral Home directing. The family received friends at Gray Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday. Josh enjoyed spending time with his family, relaxing on the beach, watching Alabama football and Kentucky basketball, and being the life of the party.
He was strong in his faith, extremely loyal, passionate, and giving. Josh loved his family and friends deeply and unconditionally and enjoyed making memories with them and making them laugh. Josh was preceded by his grandparents, George Thomas and Ramona Head and Royce Senn, and his aunt Daphine Head Bridges.
Josh was survived by his son, Trey Head; his parents, Steve (Debbie) Head and Toneece (Randy) Price; his brothers, Lesley Stephen (Kellie) Head II and Hayden (Ashley) Watson; his grandmothers, Bobbie Pike and Kathy Senn; his nieces, Kayla (Roger) Brown, Mary Katherine Head, Margaret Head and Ragen Pike; his nephew, Connor Pike; his great-aunt MaeDean Jordan; and several aunts, uncles, and family members.
Pallbearers were Hayden Watson, Josh Taylor, Hunter Christian, Jarod Dykes, Roger Brown, Levi McCray, Greg Senn, Jonathan Flahive, D. J. Senn, and Martin King. Johnny Walker will be an honorary pallbearer. Special song “Amazing Grace” will be sung by Marie Green and Melissa Senn.
