Mrs. Lallar Mae Chambliss, 76, of Union Springs, Alabama peacefully entered into eternal rest with her husband and son by her side on June 21, 2021.
Funeral Service was Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., at Old St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 3740 County Road 115 Union Springs, AL 36089.
Eulogist was Pastor Bobby Upshaw Interment took place at Moultrie Cemetery. Lallar was born December 1, 1944 in Pineapple, Alabama.
Educated in Wilcox, County, Al, Lallar was a graduate of the Camden Academy. After graduation, she moved to New York where she met her husband, Willie Frank. Completing a 25 year career in Communications, Lallar retired and relocated to Union Springs, Alabama with her husband.
Lallar loved the Lord and was a faithful member of the Old St John Baptist Church in Union Springs. Lallar was the beloved Matriarch of her family and enjoyed working in the family business, shopping and traveling.
Preceding her in eternal rest are her parents, sister, and daughter in law, Valencia Marie Carter.
Her precious legacy will be forever cherished by her husband, Willie Frank Chambliss, Sr.., son Willie Frank Chambliss, Jr, sister Joyuline Walker, Queens, NY, brothers in law, Earl (Vernita) Smart, Tuskegee, AL Norman Chambliss, Jr of North Carolina, sisters in- law, Patricia Chambliss, Union Springs, AL Carol Dupe, Bronx, NY, Evelyn Smart and Dorothy (Cardell) Dickerson all of Union Springs, AL her aunt, Bessie Johnson, Apoka, Fl along with a host of nieces, and nephews, including her special nieces, and nephews Jennifer, Eyvonne Yvette, Annette Woodrow Jr and Christopher along with several other relatives and friends.
