Carter Funeral Home announces the passing of Mrs. Sharon Blanche Morgan McClendon of Union Springs, Alabama.
Mrs. Morgan, 61, fell asleep in death on May 9, 2021, at the Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, AL.
The Commemoration Services began with a public visitation, Friday, May 14, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Funeral. Services at graveside were held, Saturday, May 15, 2021. at 3:00 p.m. from the Union Springs Perpetual Care Cemetery. Bro. Calvin Lasley delivered the discourse.
All visitation and services were conducted exercising prescribed social distancing protocols. Attendees at the graveside were requested to wear appropriate facial coverings and practice social distancing. Sharon Blanche Morgan McClendon was born, December 25, 1959, to the late Cornelius James Morgan Jr. and Allean Marie Morgan in Jacksonville, FL.
Sharon matriculated through Duval County School System where she graduated from Duncan U. Fletcher High School in Jacksonville Beach, FL. Proceeded by further education. Sharon spent the majority of her work career at Southern Springs Nursing Home in Union Springs, Al.
She was also recently baptized as Jehovah's Witness, exchanging life for eternity on May 9, 2021.
Left to cherish earthly memories her husband Quinnie Lee McClendon. Six siblings, BFF Girtha Nell Morgan (Al), Sandra Morgan O’ Neal, Ashley Morgan, Thomas Morgan (Valerie), Patrick Morgan (Rita), Roger Morgan (Stacy), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins (favorite Muchella Kohn), friends, and very best friend Malinda Ballard.
