Carter Funeral Home announces the passing of Mrs. Linda S. Brown of Union Springs, Alabama. Mrs. Brown, 58, fell asleep in death on May 11, 2021 at the Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, AL.
The Commemoration services began with a public visitation, Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Funeral Services at graveside was held, Sunday, May 16, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. from the New Mt. Silla Baptist Cemetery, Midway, AL.

All visitation and services will be conducted exercising prescribed social distancing protocols.
Attendees at graveside are requested to wear appropriate facial coverings and practice social distancing.
Linda was born to Alma Stevenson and Otis Gamble on February 2, 1963. She earned her Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN), and later earned her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) and other credentials in order to serve the healthcare industry for over 30 years.
Linda is preceded in death by her father, Otis Gamble. Linda is survived by her loving husband, Terry Brown of Union Springs; four children; Deandre Stevenson Sr. , Kertredia Davis (Felix), Terri Renique Brown, and Jasmine Jinae Brown; twelve grandchildren; Deandre Stevenson Jr., Demarion Stevenson, Zuri Steele, DeAirane Stevenson, Bishop Davis, Justice Davis, Nya Fletcher, Kendall Stevenson, Mason Brown, Jazlynn Boyd, Kassidy Davis, Naomi Davis, and Janya Holloway ; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
