Ka’Shaad Memorial Scholarship Foundation Christmas Giveaway was held at the home of Samuel and B.J. Benton.

Commissioner John McGowan, spokesman for the foundation, began with a welcome and an overview of the foundation. After which a prayer was prayed by Mrs.Mozell Benton. Songs were sung, and then Ms. B.J. Benton presented Mrs. Elnora Tetter, the wife of Rev. John Tetter former pastor of the Lowfield Baptist Church for 30+ years a gift basket that included 52 gifts cards of various restaurants.

The reason why the basket consisted of 52 cards is that there are 52 weeks in a year, and for 1 year Mrs. Tetter can go out once a week and dine in or out and enjoy a meal of her choice.

Rev. Tetter is battling with Dementia, and Mrs. Tetter is his caregiver around the clock.

We hope this act of kindness will lighten her load and make her day a little brighter.

Ka’Shaad Hurts Foundation was also able to bless Ms. Marrian Callaway, with gift cards and a monetary gift. We are praying for a speedy recovery.

I would like to say thanks to my awesome family and friends. You are the best!!!
