On Wednesday, September 1, 2021, while Union Springs Police Department (USPD) officers were at the scene of an unrelated call, they noticed a black 2008 Chrysler Town and Country minivan parked unattended.

When USPD officers ran a check on the vehicle, the van was reported stolen on Thursday, August 26, 2021, to the Columbus Police Department in Columbus, Georgia.

Lieutenant Spencer and Lieutenant Lewis of the USPD inventoried the van and had it towed by Corey’s Auto Body and Paint.
