CSCS students Katelyn Jackson, Marlene Reyes-Bautista and AJ Taylor

Three Conecuh Springs Christian School students were announced as winners in a recent contest sponsored by the Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board. Katelyn Jackson won second place for her video submission. Marlene Reyes-Bautista won second place in the poster division.

AJ Taylor won second place in the essay division.

As part of the Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board’s efforts to educate young people about the dangers of alcohol and discourage underage and binge drinking, the ABC Board’s Under Age, Under Arrest initiative held an essay, poster and video contest for middle- and high-school students.

The topic of the contest was “The Danger of Underage Drinking.” Those entering were asked to convey a message about the risks or dangers associated with underage and binge drinking.

Reyes-Bautista is a recent CSCS graduate. Jackson and Taylor will be seniors this year.
