State staff members for U.S. Senator for Alabama Tommy Tuberville visited Union Springs on October 6, 2021, at the Richard Stone Complex from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. John Ferguson, Regional Director for our area, and Cindy Mulvaney Pate, Regional Director for the adjacent Montgomery area, spoke one-on-one with those who came to the "Satellite Office" in this temporary location.

This was not a group meeting, but individuals came during these hours as their schedules permitted for direct conversations with the senator's staff. Among the county and city leaders who spoke with the senator's staff members about ways the senator could help Bullock County, and Union Springs were Bullock County Commission Chairman Alonza Ellis, Jr., Union Springs Mayor Roderick Clark, Franklin Field Airport Authority board member Hunter Smith, and Bullock County Emergency Management Agency Director Ray Scott.

The senator's staff members would leave with an overview of our county with specific needs being discussed during these four hours of informal conversations with citizens.

Commission Chairman Ellis issued the invitation for a town hall meeting in Union Springs with Senator Tuberville.

Citizens may contact our Regional Director John Ferguson at (office) 334-547-7441; (cell) 202-941-0924; and john_ferguson@tuberville.senate.gov.
