The Women on Mission (WOM) met on August 9, 2021. During the business session, officers were voted on by secret ballot, and the current slate of officers was re-elected for another term. Gail Barr, President; Barbara Cope, Vice-President; Faye Gaston, Secretary/Publicity; Amy Hall, Treasurer; Sandra Till, Outreach/Cards; Mona Crawford, Mission Action Projects Chairperson; Clothing Room Chairperson, Vicky Hall.

Joyce Perrin was welcomed as a guest. Reports were made during the business session. Sandra Till mailed cards from WOM during July to the sick and bereaved. The church Clothing Room gave clothes to eleven people on August 5, 2021.

It will be open again on September 2 at 9:00 a.m. WOM members will continue to save change/coins until the October WOM meeting to help purchase water filters for Southern Baptist missionaries who serve where the water is not safe.

Cookie Tullos explained the circumstances of giving away the "Blessing Purse" filled with gift items, a New Testament, and a gospel tract. The "Missions Mosaic" magazine will be delivered at WOM meetings for the next month instead of through the U.S. mail.

Members will meet at Vicky Hall's home on August 23 to sew items to go in shoeboxes for the Christmas project through Samaritan's Purse, where the shoebox gifts are delivered to children in many countries.

Mona Crawford announced the request from Conecuh Springs Christian School for volunteers to serve at the school. Barbara Cope taught the Bible Study about "Imitating Mentors" from Missions Mosaic Magazine and gave a handout of nine pages to be used in writing answers to questions from scriptures.

Faye Gaston taught the Missionary/Prayer Focus from Missions Mosaic Magazine about Southern Baptist missionaries with a ministry to the deaf, Prayer Walking in the community, and prayer for missionaries with August 9 birthdays.

During the meeting, prayers were offered by Gail Barr, Amy Hall, and Mona Crawford. Present were Gail Barr, Diane Capps, Barbara Cope, Mona Crawford, Faye Duncan, Faye Gaston, Amy Hall, Sally Hall, Vicky Hall, Cathy Scroggins, Cookie Tullos, and Joyce Perrin, guest.
