On Friday, July 15, 2022, several members and their spouses were found at the family-owned and operated Abercrombie' Restaurant for fellowship and dinner.

Abercrombie serves up some of the best food in a relaxed family atmosphere. When talking to Don Abercrombie, I learned that one of the most important aspects of the restaurant is that they source the best ingredients always raised or produced in the U.S.A., even on their farm when possible.

He pointed out that the unsung heroes were the back of the house and some very talented cooks who prepare each plate to order.

I would add that some of the friendliest waitresses that exemplify Southern hospitality make for a winning combination.

If that isn't enough, they even add some of the best homegrown musicians for live entertainment on Saturday nights. When you combine good friends and good food, it is easy to see that all had a good time.
