Ja’Kerria Jackson and Eric Oneal, Jr. have been chosen Mr. and Miss BCHS.

Ja’Kerria Jackson is the daughter of Cassandra and James Jackson. Ja’Kerria enjoyed this special Homecoming night as she was crowned as 2021-2022 Miss BCHS. She stated that it was a huge honor to be recognized in a memorable fashion at the coronation.

Although it was a great shock to her, Miss Jackson now knows that her hard work has finally paid off. With this being her last year at Bullock County High, owning this title means so much.

Ja’Kerria would also like to give a special thanks to God because none of this would be possible without Him. She thanks her family for the tremendous support and her peers for the votes.

Erick O’Neal, Jr. is the son of Erick and Kisa O’Neal. Erick said that first, he would like to give honor to God, who is the head of his life.

He said, “I want to thank Him for allowing me to be put in this position to serve as Mr. BCHS. Next, I would like to thank my parents. Words can not express the gratitude I have for them.

“I want to thank them for being the best cheerleaders I could have ever asked for and rallying behind me every time.

“Lastly, I’d like to especially thank each and every one of you who voted for me. You could have chosen anyone, but you saw something in me, and I promise not to fail you. I know everyone says this, but I couldn’t have asked for a better class, from fun and lackadaisical to business-minded and productive. We indeed are the definition of a unified student body.

“These past high school years, I’ve seen us all discover and devote ourselves to such a wide range of passions and grow immensely as a result. I can’t wait to see where we go and grow.

“I know I will make a great role and leader for the students at Bullock County High School. How do I know this? Because I REFUSE to let my fellow classmates down. I promise to lead by a good example and influence others to stay on the right path. Many obstacles will appear on that designated path, but together I know we can weather any storm.

“Thank you all for believing in me. I am highly honored and glad to represent Bullock County High School. It is a huge honor, and a great privilege for me to be your 2021 - 2022 Mr. BCHS.”
