We take several things for granted in America.

We are blessed to live in America.

Veterans Day is different from Memorial Day. Veterans Day celebrates the service of all U.S. military veterans, while Memorial Day honors those who had died while in military service.

I have had several relatives serve in the military. I am grateful for their service; some of them are Harold Thomas, Walter Spears, Howard Marshall, Jimmie Alexander, Arric Marshall, Keith Alexander, Arric Marshall, Jr., Spencer Masslieno, Jamie Curry, Sr., Jamie Curry, Jr., Raymond Capers, Donald Lee, Dan Lee, Edward Lee, Jr., Sean Harris.

As a coach, I have encouraged our players to join the military, and several have. I coached for twenty years, and I cannot remember all my former players who have served, but I do want to mention a few.

Thank you: Pao Mei Fisher, DeMarcus Smith, Jordan Jackson, Howard Freeman, Brandon Stanford, Jamal Bynum, Logan Walden, Hunter Wise, Micah Ortiz, Tate Willger, Kareem Moore, Marquis Catchings, Shountrell Hills, Demarcus McKenzie, Denarious Britt, Jimmie Simmons, Carlos Thompson, James Mayberry, Dominick Davis, Clifton Prim, Dee Colman, Tarique Chames, Andrew McGoldrick, Markavious Streeter, and Kentavis Pugh.

There are many more to thank, like Coach Glenn Bousquet and all the students and teachers I have taught and worked with.

Thank you.

Our country is our home. A key ingredient to winning at home is protecting our home.

These brave men and women protect us and keep us safe.

I want to encourage you to send a personal message to someone who has served or is serving in the military and tell them thank you. Please use their name in the message and make it personal.

Thank them for their sacrifice, service, and willingness to do what many of us are not doing. Tell them as their relative you are proud of them and grateful.

We want to thank all of those who have served and are serving in the military. We are grateful for the retired, active duty, and reserves. Thank you for your service.

Three ways to Win At Home:

1. Thank a family member who has or is serving in the military.

2. Be grateful to live in America.

3. Do not take the freedom we have for granted.
