National Boss Day has been celebrated in the United States on October 16 since 1962. It is a day that employees get to thank the Boss and appreciate the fact that you have a job. Maybe an employee can present a "thank-you" card or a gift card for a meal to the Boss. I will share the note I plan to present to my bosses:

"You are an inspiration to work with because of your example of hard work and dedication. 2021 has proved to be a year of change and challenge, but you go the extra mile and know how to get the best work from your employees. Thank you that I am happy with my job."

Many people have lost their jobs. There are homeless people. There are people too sick or unable to work physically. If you have a job, it is a true blessing.
