Tamicca Rodgers, owner of the Cocktail Lounge, with help from her employees, family, and friends, pulled off a Youth Halloween Party of epic proportions. Rodgers had her plate full Sunday, October 31, 2021.

After judging the cook-off at the Praise Harvest Fall Festival, Rodgers had to rush to the Cocktail Lounge and get ready for Bullock County’s youth of all ages to arrive for good food, games, and thrills of all kinds.

“I arrived at the lounge at 5:00 p.m., and I already had cars pulling in. I was running around like a crazy person trying to make sure everything was in place,” stated Rodgers.

With the help of Jamese Stantley and Monisha Rogers, they were ready to open the doors. Within ten minutes of passing out glow necklaces, they were gone, and around a hundred children were ready for the fun to start. They danced, played games, played tag, ate good food provided by the Cocktail Lounge, and enjoyed a ton of candy.

“These kids were allowed to run around and have fun and do what kids do,” commented Rodgers. At one point in the evening, the lights went off. The monsters came out and made everyone jump with fear and excitement. “You had to be there to witness it. Still, the children had a blast! I want to thank the Bullock County community for bringing the children out to have a fantastic memorable night,” stated Rodgers.

“It pleases my heart to see them have a good time. One that I promise they will never forget!”
