The children at Evergreen Baptist Church packed thirty boxes on Sunday, November 15, 2015 for the Operation Christmas Child.

The children enjoyed collecting different items to go in the boxes so children in other countries will have a Christmas gift. Some examples of items placed in the boxes include toothbrushes, toothpaste, bars of soap, hairbrushes, coloring books, color crayons, and a small toy.

Operation of Christmas is a very meaningful experience for the children to be involved in to show how a small box can make another child so happy when they receive the box in the mail.

The children presented the thirty boxes to the church after they finished packing them in Sunday school.

Kayden Glover said a very sweet prayer for the children in other countries who will receive the boxes for Christmas.

Rev. Josh Powell is the pastor of Evergreen Baptist Church located in Barbour County.
