The children of Bob and Juliette Adams request your presence at a reception celebrating the fiftieth wedding anniversary of their parents.

Members of the Conecuh Springs Christian School ballet class performed last week at the Junior League Holiday Market. Under the direction of volunteer teacher Gail Bar, all girls ages two and up at CSCS are exposed to ballet and perform two recitals a year. Those dancing at the Holiday Market were Leticia Trejo, Nidhi Patel, Corey Reynolds, Alyssa Capps, Elizabeth Roughton and Katie Moore.

Principal James Foulks and the facluty and staff of Merritt Elementary School are happy to announce their first nine weeks honor roll. First Grade: Shalaceon Anglin, Jalani Bowens, Aniah Britt, India Gachett, Lakimbria Jackson, Namya Robsinson. Second Grade: Keldrick Caldwell, Devin Parker, Jacarious Robbins, Jaliya Robinson, Donell Swanson, Azia Falls. Third Grade: Ma’Kayla Allen, Tyleria Anglin, Walkiraia Dixson, Cheyenne Robinson, Michele Rumph. Fourth Grade: Lateefah Hall, Keyshawn Jones, Jakoya Robinson. Fifth Grade: Shavonte Blue, Tykeria Gibbs, Alundra Miles, Gary Parham, Marlon Simpson, Ty’Sherra Tarver, Shakyhia Watkins. Sixth Grade: Shiniece Hall, Keon Jones, Elena Youngblood.

Main & Associates, Incorporated is proud to announce the opening of Southern Springs Long Term Care Facility in Union Springs. This project has been under development for over four years.

Mike and Marilyn Kilpatrick are proud to announce the birth of a baby boy. His name is Mitchell Ryan. Mitch is welcomed home by his five year old sister, Amanda. Grandmothers are Shirley D. Brooks and Ruby Kilpatrick. Grandfathers are Glen Kilppatrick and James E. Benbow. Great grandmothers are Mattie Clyde Brooks and Teresa Cantey.

50 Years Ago - 1969

Mrs. T. M. Guthrie was hostess to the W. M. S. at her home Wednesday morning. Mrs. H. F. Pickett was leader. She, who is president, called the meeting to order. A song was sung and Dr. Bowman led in prayer.

Mr. Drew Barnett of Auburn University spent the weekend with Dr. and Mrs. Hill Barnett.

Mrs. George Spurlin of Penny Farm, Fla. is visiting Mr. and Mrs. Jim Spurlin.

Mrs. Johnnie Williamson is visiting her parents in Hampton, Ky.

75 Years Ago - 1944

Miss Sara Jean Sims, who is a student at Auburn, is visiting with the family.

Mr. and Mrs. James Sims were callers in the Simsville Community Friday afternoon.

Infertile eggs keep much better than fertile ones. Nest material needs to be clean at all times. Clean hen houses and roosts help keep eggs clean.
