Mr. and Mrs. Jackie Gaston were hosts for a Christmas party on Saturday at their home on Chunnenuggee Avenue. Gaston’s children and spouses and Mrs. Gaston's relatives came for the annual gathering.

Miss Ada Kate Posey and Howard Hobson Morgan were married December 6, 1968, in an evening ceremony at the First Presbyterian manse in Union Springs. The Rev. David Antonson officiated in the presence of the immediate family and friends. After a wedding trip to Nassau, the couple is residing at 114 Hunter Street, Union Springs, and 311 Truett Drive, Montgomery, Al.
Lt. Col. D. D. Hall, Mrs. Hall and children of Annandale, Va. arrived Saturday to spend the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Williams of Thompson and his parents in Tuskegee.
Mrs. James L. Paulk was hostess to the Model Garden Club at the Union Springs Country Club on Wednesday. The club’s yuletide decorations made a lovely setting for this Christmas meeting. Mrs. Hill Barnett told the story of Christmas traditions around the world as she presented the program on “Christmas in Foreign Lands.”
Mrs. Robert Reeder was the gracious hostess to the Fleur-de-Lis Garden Club for their annual Christmas Party. The president, Mrs. John Will Waters, presided over a short business session and welcomed a new member, Mrs. John Seymour, to the club. Mrs. Joe Hendrickson and Mrs. Kenneth Allen, were introduced and welcomed as guests for the afternoon. Mrs. Don Priori gave the history of the Poinsettia and presented each one present a beautiful flower. Mrs. Reeder, assisted by her daughter, Robbin, and Mrs. T. O Hassett, served a delicious salad plate with coffee or tea.

Friends will be glad to learn that John Wiley Springs, who has been suffering from injuries received in a fall, hopes to be home from Jefferson Hospital, Birmingham for Christmas dinner.

Mr. C. M. Gary is at home from State Teachers College at Jacksonville.
Miss Janice Turnipseed, has come down from Ward-Belmont College, for the holidays with her mother, Mrs. W. O. Turnipseed.
The Holmes brothers and their families have moved into their home on East Conecuh, formerly the Peddy Home, which has been remodeled and painted throughout.
