The Bullock County Commission was told Monday morning that six illegal dump sites will soon be cleaned up and a stern warning was given to persons dumping at illegal dump sites.
Individuals 18 years of age or older what want to become a Certified Nursing Assistant are invited to apply for and participate in the Federally funded program at Wallace Community College, which will prepare them for work in such local entities as Bullock County Hospital, Southern Springs Healthcare & Rehabilitation Facility, Doctor’s offices, area health department, Department of Corrections and home health agencies.

Deputy Raymond Rodgers, Deputy Gary Smith and Sheriff Chalres Hudson destroyed a whiskey still last Wednesday. The still was located about a half mile north of Hwy. 51 near Hurtsboro.

Mr. E. A. Cameron will leave Sunday for New York City, to purchase spring and summer merchandise for The Fair Co.
