Attorney Theresa Daniel has recently openher law office in Union Springs, Mrs. Daniel graduated from Jones Law School in Montgomery in January, 1993 and passed the bar exam in April of this year.

Sue Cochran is babysitting this week and brought little Mary Kathryn, her precious little two-year-old granddaughter, by the Herald.

W. H. Garner, Sr., president of the Union Springs Herald, Inc. announced today that Earl Phillips had joined the Herald Corporation as vice-president in charge of the commercial printing division. Mr. Phillips, 36, started learning graphic arts at The Herald in March, 1954. He came to The Herald after serving in the U. S. Navy from 1950 to1954. He started learning the Linotype keyboard while attending high school night classes under the GI bill. He is married to the former Miss Moline Mathis and they have two children, Trina, 13, and Craig, 10.
Masters Tim Cohn and Slats Slaton will leave Sunday for a two weeks stay at the Montgomery “Y” Camp Rotary on Lake Jordan.
Miss Cheryl Cook attended the majorette twirling camp at Sunnyside, Fla. during the week of June 2, along with the other majorettes of Union Springs.
