Sunday, July 26th, will be the annual homecoming Day at the Eastside Baptist Church in Union Springs. Rev. R. W. Stuckey, former pastor in the founding of the church, now retired and living in Montgomery, will be the honored guest and will deliver the morning sermon.
Bro. Stuckey will be 81 years of age on August 6th.
Lieutenant Ramond Caylor of this city recently retired from the U.S. Navy after more than 30 years of service.
The Martha Ellis Society met at the church Monday night with Mrs. Cary Bryan.
