The Seniors of this year’s team spoke about their season and time being a part of Bullock County Football.
“I haven’t been here for two years but, it is a great memory being around a lot of guys who show you love and be around a lot of guys that got your back and there for you. Also being around coaches doing a good job. That is a blessing situation,” said defensive back Caleb Jones.
Senior defensive back Marcus Ward stated: “It was a great memory. It’s nothing else like it but at the end of the day you’re going to feel like you should have done it. ‘It’s going to be gone one day,’ that’s what my coaches keep telling me. It’s my senior year, it’s not going to be here next year, I’m trying to live it up and do the best that I can when we try to win state.”
It’s been an experience just growing up here and playing here everyday. It’s a little sad that it’s my last year but I had fun doing it,” replied linebacker Kamal Lewis.
Wide Receiver Luke Sturdivant stated: “I never had a family like this and I’ll cherish that for the rest of my life.”
Seniors Kendeous Owens and Keldrick Caldwell spoke about the playoffs. “Going to the playoffs makes it seems like all the stuff we did in the summer made us fee like we worked towards something. It sets the foundation for the next squad coming in.” “They always doubted us and took us as a joke. Now we have a coach and now we have a program. We’re going to be on top one day,” said Caldwell.
