Xabien Hilton, Markavious Streeter, JeDarious Flintroy, Kamal Lewis and Kendeous Owens, high school seniors at Bullock County High School (BCHS), signed letters of intent to play football.

The National Signing Day was held on February 7, 2020 in the gym with parents, coaches, friends, students and family on hand to support the five young men.

Xanien Hilton signed with Jefferson Prep in Birmingham, Markavious Streeter and Kamal Lewis signed with Alabama A & M in Huntsville, Kendeious Owens signed with Tennessee Valley Prep in Huntsville and JeDarious Flintroy signed with Tennessee Valley Prep in Huntsville.

BCHS Head Football Coach Willie Spears said, "These young men were part of the two greatest seasons in school history.

"We are all excited about following them as they continue to play the game they love.”

Markavious Streeter said, "I thank God for everything he has done for me. I thank my entire family for everything they have done to make me the man I am now. I love you all.

"I thank everyone who played a part in my success from my coaches and teammates who have been with me through heat, rain, and freezing days and the pain, blood, sweat, and tears.

"My team brothers, I love them all, are a big part of my success.

"I can never leave out the greatest support system ever - the community that gives to us no matter what and to the people over the Black and Gold Booster Club which nothing would have gotten done without you all.

"All and all this is just a huge family.

"I pray that God continues to guide me through this journey to success and hopefully He can get some more of my brothers to join me at A&M.

"Two quotes I will never forget from Coach Willie Spears are “If you want to be successful do something you have never done” and “Football is played from the neck up."
