The Conecuh Springs Christian School (CSCS) Eagles hosted the Eagles of Brooklane Baptist this past Friday night. After a sluggish start, Kevin Padilla got the scoring started with a 57 yard punt return for a touchdown.
After that the Eagles scored often in route to a 46-12 victory. Leading the offense for CSCS was Cesar Bravo-Mota, who rushed nine times for 164 yards and four touchdowns.
Also scoring rushing touchdowns were Richard Santay (two yards), and Joseph Munoz (45 yards).
The Eagle defense was stingy for the most part only allowing two touchdowns while also causing and recovering two fumbles.
Leading the attack for the Eagles was Tristen Mosely with five solo tackles and nine assists. Ruben Gudino and Efraim Perez-Vaquero also got in on the action with two solo tackles and seven assists each.
Overall it was a great game for CSCS as they improved on both sides of the ball from their week one victory and improved to 2-0 for the season.
Up next for the Eagles is another home game Friday night against the Patriots of Chilton Christian.
Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. and all are encouraged to attend and support the Eagles.
