Deacon Clemmie "Hut" Lee Baker was born on April 5, 1944 in Union Springs, Alabama to the late William and Annie Lee Baker.
Deacon Baker confessed Christ at an early age and united with the Old Sardis Missionary Baptist Church located in the Sardis Community.
Deacon Baker was gainfully employed by Bonnie Plant Farm for 60 years and retired in 2016.
Deacon Baker departed this life on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 to enter into eternal rest with our Father God and his loved ones who transitioned before him.
He was preceded in death by his daughters: Vickey Baker and Brenda Rosado; Brothers: Henry Baker, William Baker, Richard Baker, and Tommy Baker; Sisters: Mattie Lou Jenkins, Annie Bell Youngblood, Evergreen Baker, and Sue Lee Thomas.
He is survived by wife Veronica Baker; three sisters: Ola Bell Jackson, Annie Grace Youngblood, and Ethel Borders; two daughters: Loria (Charles) Kendrick, Sharon (Michael) Baker; one stepson Lawrence Randolph III. He was loved by a host of grandchildren, great grands, nieces, nephews and friends.
