On May 3, 2019 Linda Theresa “Terry” Priori Margulis (born July 3, 1959 in Union Springs, AL) went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She was preceded in death by her infant sister, Elizabeth Ann Priori; her father, Donald Louis Priori; and mother, Dorothy Loyce Priori, about a month prior to her passing (March 29).
Terry will be remembered as a thoughtful, artistic, energetic, loving, and compassionate person who spent her life touching others in unique ways, such as drawing greeting cards, singing songs, cooking, or just holding their hand and offering comfort through difficult times.
Her gift was mercy and quality time was her love language. A nurse by trade, Terry set her career aside for nearly two decades to pour her life in to her family and serve in her community.
She schooled her children at home and taught them to love Jesus and show that love by volunteering from an early age—whether in the nursery, playing trumpet in the orchestra, or kitchen at church or alongside her in medical clinics as a nurse and caring, compassionate friend for the disadvantaged, depressed, or mentally ill—she always had multiple service projects in progress.
During Terry’s last few years she wearily battled Wegener’s Granulomatosis—an autoimmune disease which ultimately claimed her life. Despite the struggle, she was still very family focused—even mustering enough energy to move across the country to be a part of her children and grandchildren’s lives.
She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Francis William Margulis; three children: Ashley Margulis Dias (Savio), David Abraham Margulis, and Daniel Mishael Margulis (Ashlyn); two grandchildren Joanna Ruth Dias and Joseph Savio Dias; sister Laura Susan Priori (Arbie); brother Donald Randolph Priori (Kim), nieces Amy Priori Brooks (Casey) and Haley Lowman Davidson (Andrew); nephews Donald Anthony Priori and Christopher Randolph Priori (Nancy); as well as cousins and great- nieces and nephews.
As per her wishes she will be cremated and a small memorial service will be held at a later date. A memorial service will be held in late June in Bullock County at a place and date to be determined. Details will follow.
