Jimmy Ray Duncan, 74, a lifelong resident of Union Springs, AL, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from First Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Cannon officiating. Burial followed in Oak Hill Cemetery with Gray Funeral Home directing.
Jimmy was an active member in First Baptist Church for almost 50 years. He participated in the annual Mission Trips since 2002. He was a generous person who helped many in the community with their needs.
Jimmy loved to hunt and his passion was teaching children how to hunt, especially turkey.
He loved helping with the Conecuh Springs Christian School Youth Deer Hunts and he will be dearly missed by the participants of the Conecuh Station Field Trials where he cooked breakfast for everyone.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Faye Duncan; two daughters, Michelle Raney and husband Jye of Union Springs, AL and Larae Mason and husband Tom of Lempster, NH; grandchildren, Chase (Kristi) Lowman and Bailey Clem; great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Lowman.
The family received friends at Gray Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2020.
