Sis. Eva Lou Bristow

Carter Funeral Home is humbled to announce the transition of Sis. Eva Lou Bristow, 64, of Union Springs, Alabama on August 27, 2019. Services celebrating her earthly Life were held Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. from the sanctuary of the Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church of the Pine Grove Community, Midway, Alabama.

The message of triumph was delivered by Pastor, William J. Glover. Interment followed in the Fellowship Baptist Cemetery. Sis. Bristow will lay in repose at the church one hour prior to Celebration of Life Services. Public visitation was held Friday, September, 6, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. unitl 7:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home.

Eva Bristow was born on April 7, 1955 in Bullock County, Alabama to her mom, Mae Bell Jones, and her dad, the late Edgar Allums. She accepted Christ at a young age where she served with everything she had.

Eva gained her wings on August 27, 2019 at Troy Regional Medical Center in Troy, Alabama. She was a very strong-minded woman who loved being around people and they loved being around her just sitting back talking and laughing.

She was preceded in death by her four brothers: Jessie, Charles, Jasper, and Willie Ed Jones; and one sister, Thelma Jones.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Willie Bristow; one daughter, Shakial ( John Pual) Mendoza; two sons: Johnny Lee Bandy, Jr. and Robert (Cassandra) Bandy, all of Troy, AL.; seven sisters: Mary Davis, Rebecca (Guerry) Bonner, Deborah Parham-Ferguson, Tracey Parham, Willie Mae (Derrick) Sterling, Sandra (Rev. Thomas) Pritchett, Chandra (Michael) Rucker; three brothers: Robert (Shelia) Jones, Lee Otis Jones, Paul (Christine) Parham; sister-in-law, Victoria Jones; one aunt, Annie B. Earle; grandchildren: Tabithia Bandy (Eric Leverette), Moses Bandy, (Emily Caple), Corey Bandy (Sherkeyia Jackson), Jaquez Bandy, Ieshia Bandy, Robert Bandy, Jr., Elijah Bandy, Angel Bandy, MyTayjah Bandy, Victor Bandy, Jacob Bandy, Brittany Grime, Joshua Bandy, Terry Mendoza, Bridgette Flowers, Brandy Flowers, Leon Flowers, and Alyssa Patterson; great-grandchildren: Ta’Kailee Bandy, Malayia Leverette, Wynter Bandy, Ahmyiah Bandy, Aikee Bandy, Tymarcus Allen, Jamarion Walker, Jordon Leverette, Kamaria Daniels, Arabella Mendoza; a host of nieces and nephews; close friend, Linda Tate.
