Rayborn Manor Bed and Breakfast, nestled in the East Central part of Macon County in the Little Texas Community celebrated its fourth year in business June 1, 2019.

The local business, which is affiliated with Airbnb, a California based International Host Company, opened its doors for business June 1, 2015. By December 3, 2015 Rayborn Manor had earned its first Airbnb Super Host Award followed by the second milestone on December 15, 2015, hosting its first international guests from Germany. The business had its first media debut with Judd Davis of WSFA TV Channel 12 “County Road 12”.

Since those early days, the owners Leoncia and Curtis Rayborn have served as hosts to Macon County visitors from California to New York, from Florida to Canada and 23 international countries.

Among those visitor to our area were guests from Argentina, Australia, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy and Taiwan. Most of our guests usually fall into one of three categories: 1) Attending Special Events in Auburn or Tuskegee, 2) Passing through to other destinations and 3) Historic Tours through Alabama and the South.

Rayborn Manor Bed and Breakfast, has five guest rooms with both private and shared bathroom facilities. Each room is equipped with a computer workstation, flat screen TV, refrigerator, microwave oven and (1) Queen Size Bed in each room.

The facility is handicapped accessible with a 600 lbs capacity lift from ground level to the sundeck located at the rear of the home. Rayborn Manor is surrounded by various fruit trees, blueberry and vineyard treats.

It is also home to several varieties of birds, squirrels, rabbits and deer, which are visible along a nature trail on the property.

Rayborn Manor Bed and Breakfast nominated again by Airbnb guests as a Super Host April 11, 2019. Which is home to Leoncia’s World Class Breakfasts that are freshly prepared to guest specifications, at the time they desire, while soaking up local history.
