Bullock County Judge of Probate conducted a Voter Registration drive at Old Merritt School located in Midway AL. On June 27, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

In conjunction with the voter drive, the Alabama Secretary of State office were on site issuing free photo voter ID from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. One photo ID was issued.

During the course of this event, Aliyah registered to vote and she encourages all her peers to register to vote as well once they reach the age of 18.

“I'm very pleased we were able to provide this service to the citizens of Bullock County.

"I would like to thank Alabama Secretary of State John Merrill for dispatching his staff to Bullock County for this event.

"Also, I would like to remind the citizens about the Presidential Preference Primary Election and the Alabama Statewide Primary Election to be held on March 3, 2020,” says Judge Tatum.

Any citizen that needs to register to vote may contact the Bullock County Board of Registrar's office Monday through Friday during normal business hours.

You may obtain a free Photo Voter ID from that office as well. You can also register to vote online at alabamavotes.gov. You must have a valid Alabama driver license or an Alabama non driver's ID.
