On June 22, 2019, around 6:00 p.m., deputies from the Bullock County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a residence in the Inverness County.

Upon arrival they made contact with three individuals that advised that white male Timothy Bernard Buffy had assaulted a 16 years old juvenile and had left the scene prior to their arrival in a black Honda Accord armed with a handgun.

The deputies began to try to make contact with the suspect.

Approximately 30 minutes later, the vehicle was located traveling on County Road 28.

The deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and took the subject into custody.

The substance was tested yielding a positive result for Methamphetamine.

The subject was transported to Bullock County Jail and charged with one count of Domestic Violence Assault by strangulation or suffocation and one count of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance.
