Child Nutrition workers prepare meals.

On behalf of the Bullock County Schools Child Nutrition Program, I would like to thank Mayor Saint T. Thomas, Councilman Earl Hinson, Councilwoman Deborah Milan, the Union Springs Street Department staff, the Union Springs Rec Department staff, the Union Springs Nutrition Site staff, Sheriff Raymond Rodgers, Mayor Mildred Whittington, Councilwoman Dollie Blue, the Midway Nutrition Site staff, Chairman Alonza Ellis, Jr., Ms. Annie Jenkins, Dr. Michael King, Rev. Hawthorne Reed, Ms. Mamie Maddox, Ms. Shirley Beacham, Ms. Theresa Lee, Ms. Denise Jenkins, Ms. Connie Adams, Mr. Torres Vines, Mr. Charles Baker, and Ms. Betty Faniel for your hard work and dedication as we work to feed the students of Bullock County during the mandatory school closure.

These selfless individuals have pitched in to help wherever there was a need, including moving truckloads of food, opening feeding sites, preparing meals, delivering meals, handing out meals, and transporting children to feeding sites.

This has definitely been a community effort and this feeding program would not be possible without their support.

For everything you have done and continue to do, you are truly appreciated!

Sincerely,

Kandra McCray, Child Nutrition Program Director
