The Union Springs/Bullock County Chamber of Commerce held its monthly board meeting on May 19, 2020, via zoom with Presetta Walker, president, presiding. These actions were tabled, (1) "design/order membership stickers" due to schools being closed, (2) review of future tasks for 2019-2020.

The votes were unanimous for accepting the By-Laws as written and for Senior Community Service Enrollment Program (SCSEP) to continue. Food produce is available for six weeks.

Board Secretary Belinda Barto will be contacted for hand sanitizer.

The position of Chamber Vice-President is still vacant, and Julia Main will consider filling this position. President Walker asked each board member to bring one potential name from Bullock County for consideration of becoming a board member with approval from the board. The Bullock County Extension Office is now an ex-officio member of the board. The available funds in the chamber are $11,419.38.

Board members are to notify President Walker of upcoming events at 334-738-2720. Secretary Barto will begin working on a new Facebook page for the chamber. A password will be shared with anyone the board approves.

Present via the zoom meeting were Presetta Walker, Betty Youngblood, Fannie Davis, Lynn Jinks, Sara Smart, and Julia Main. Absent was Amber Anderson.
