Mrs. Evergreene Freeman was inducted into the Annual Hall of Fame for Senior Services.

Mrs. Evergreene Freeman was inducted into the Annual Hall of Fame for Senior Services on Sunday, August 18, 2019.

Mrs. Freeman was the recipient for the Education Services Award from Bullock County.

Her nomination was based upon her volunteer ministry rendered at Southern Springs Nursing Home for the last 12 years.

She has received awards from the advisory council, and Teacher of the Year in 1996, and was honored by Russell County Board of Education.

Mrs. Freeman is the owner of Smiling Home Care that provide services of homemaker and personal care for Bullock County as well as Pike and Macon.

Smiling Home Care sponsors the Annual Walk-a-Thon that provides Thanksgiving baskets to the elderly and reaching out to serve the sick and less fortunate with the proceeds that is received.

She is a member of The House of Light Church International in Union Springs, AL where Bishop Morris L. Thornton is Pastor and Prophetess Queen E. Thornton is Co-pastor.

Mrs. Freeman said, "I would like to thank my family and friends that supported me and came to the Achievement Ceremony."
