The Ka'Shaad Hurts Memorial Scholarship awards were presented to Devonta Davis and Aaliyah Johnson by Bullock County Commissioner John McGowan, Krystall and Kristy Hurts. They are two deserving students from Bullock County High that posses some of Ka'Shaad's characteristics. These students received a plaque along with $250.00 cash to help with their college expenses. In order to receive the Ka'Shaad Hurts Memorial Scholarship Award, a student must possess some of Ka'Shaad 's characteristics. They are as follows

It has been an honor as well as a blessing to family by helping graduates from South Highland Middle School and Bullock County High School. It is also our way of keeping our son's name alive and sharing his love with others.
