Conecuh Springs Christian School hosted its annual deer hunt January 24-26, 2019. Hunters from as far away New Jersey journeyed to Bullock County in search of a trophy buck.

Numerous landowners allowed the guests to not only hunt but to lodge on their properties ensuring that a great experience was had in Bullock County.

Meals were prepared and served during the event and door prizes were given from local businesses to the hunters.

This year's hunt harvested 78 deer and 3 hogs for our visitors. All of the hunters were entered into a drawing for a free hunt for 2020 and Jason Harper was drawn as the winner.

Conecuh Springs would like to thank all who participated by donating hunting lands, lodging, door prizes, food, or by guiding the hunts and preparing the meals.

This event is a major fund-raiser for CSCS and the community support is greatly appreciated.

If you would like more information on the school’s hunt for 2020, please call the school office (334-738-4800) and ask for Mona Padgett.
