An eighteen wheeler carrying a load of peanuts wrecked near mile marker 25 in Fitzpatrick on Wednesday, June 26, 2019.

Bullock County Rescue and Fitzpatrick Fire Department responded to the scene.

Upon arrival it was determined the truck had overturned and the driver had been ejected and was pinned beneath the truck.

Seale Cameron served as incident commander and quickly began the extrication process.

Cameron led the team of Union Springs and Fitzpatrick firefighters with a very methodical procedure and the driver was extricated and put on Haynes Life Flight.

Bullock County Sheriff's Office along with Union Springs Police Department were on scene to execute traffic control and scene safety for the firefighters.
