"Police Week" was observed across America during May 10-16, 2020 to celebrate and appreciate law enforcement officials who serve every day.
Law enforcement officers are working around-the-clock to support President Trump's administration's response to the COVID-19 pandemic. "Social distancing" is not always an option for law enforcement.
They put their lives on the line every day to protect our communities and our nation. "Police Week" especially honors those men and women who died in the line of duty in protecting us all.
In addition to our police departments in our communities are Customs and Borders Protection, the Secret Service, the Federal Protective Service, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Coast Guard, Transportation Security Administration, and the Department of Homeland Security.
These men and women are on the front-line to protect our borders, waterways, skyways, facilities, currency, cyberspace and so much more.
