My daughter, Kim and I motored over this past Friday to the recently erected country store at Hall’s Crossroads.

The old fashioned country store is owned by Mike and Jill Hall, operated by son, Chase Hall, daughter, Ali Hall, and employee Sadie Robinson.

The location is in the center of several small communities in the area and stands next to the busy Highway 223 which leads from Union Springs to Troy, AL.

A variety of stock, neatly arranged, and a small kitchen area with a serving bar and chairs will certainly draw customers and supply their needs.

I enjoyed an “Old Fashioned Hot Dog” with mustard, ketchup, and onions, being a connoisseur (french for taste) of hotdogs, I must say it was delicious.

We wish the Hall’s well and my prediction for the new store is growth and prosperity in the very near future.
