The last day to register to vote in the March 3, 2020 Primary Election is February 17, 2020.

To vote, you will only need a valid govenmental photo ID. Polls will open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 7:00 p.m. on March 3, 2020. In a Primary Election, if a voter does not want to participate in one of the party primaries, he or she may vote on the amendments only.

Cross-over voting is illegal in the State of Alabama.

If you vote in the Democratic Primary, you cannot cross-over and vote in the Republican Runoff. Likewise, if you vote in the Republican Primary, you cannot crossover and vote in the Democratic Runoff Election.

The Cross-Over Rule starts over with each election cycle and only applies to Primary and Primary Runoff Elections. It does not apply to a General Election. Any questions or concerns, please contact Probate Judge office at 334-738-2250.
