The Bullock County’s Annual Kid’s Fishing Derby will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the Wehle Land Conservation Center from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon.

The Bullock County’s Annual Kid’s Fishing Derby will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the Wehle Land Conservation Center from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon.

Registration will began at 7:00 am and early arrival is recommended. The Wehle Center is located at 4996 Pleasant Hill Road in Midway, AL.

The fishing derby is open to all Bullock County youth ages 15 and under.

Youth participants are required to have adult supervision and are encouraged to bring their rod, reel, bait, and ice chest or bucket.

Youth participants will be divided into 4 age groups and prizes will be awarded in each age group.

There will be a 10 fish limit per each registered youth. Conservation Officers and CAMO mentors will be on hand to provide assistance to inexperienced participants as needed.

Lunch will be provided to participants.

This year's fishing derby is made possible through community partners and grant funding obtained through the Mid-South Resource Conservation and Development Council, Inc.
